Welcome to the U10 Division. U10 is for intermediate and more advanced players.
U10 is for players; older 7-year-olds, 8 and 9. This division focuses on all the rules of the game, ball handling and manipulation, player field positions and coaches will begin to determine where your player fits on the field. Once coaches are able to determine field positioning, your player will focus on learning that position on the field and how to work with their teammates to become an asset to the team's offensive and defensive line.
U10 teams are part of a league where they will be traveling to other fields within our district.
All players are required to have and wear shin guards and cleats. Cleats must be proper soccer cleats; all other sport cleats are prohibited. This rule is for the safety of your player and all other players on the field.
U10 players will need a size 4 ball.
Practices are typically two days per week for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Games are played on Saturdays; times will vary and are dependent on the opponent's field availability.
Players will be held accountable for their actions at this age. All players will sign a code of conduct at their first practice. This is to ensure good behavior and sportsmanship. The OSO are strong believers of Responsibility and Accountability.
